Our retail client, located in the Inland Empire is looking for a full time Contract-to-Hire Programmer Analyst Lead / Architect for a position requiring strong experience with software development lifecycle skills including requirements gathering, functional design, technical design, development and testing. Those authorized to work in the US without sponsorship will be considered. We are not able to sponsor at this time.

FUNDAMENTAL JOB TASKS:
Acts in lead role, training and guiding developers in the use of development tools as well as design patterns and best practices
Provides technical leadership and coordinate development deliverables
Architects, designs and implements both internal and public facing applications
Responsible for the design and development of major subsystems on highly visible and critical business systems
Codes and tests applications in accordance to design specifications and standards
Responsible for successful completion of development aspects of projects in conformance to project goals and requirements
Analyzes and troubleshoots existing processes and optimize code in order to improve performance whenever possible
Assists in defining, updating and enforcing the team standards to improve the development process and quality of deliverables
Participates in project team activities and contributes to documentation
Prepares presentations and status reports
Communicates complex technical subject matter appropriately to both technical and nontechnical audiences
Fosters proactive and cooperative relationships within the project team and though out the IT organization
Perform other job-related functions as assigned
EDUCATION /
Experience:
7-10 years of experience delivering business solutions utilizing Microsoft .Net Framework up to and including .Net 4.5
3-5 years of experience administering Team Foundation Server including development of custom builds, reporting, work items and workflows
Deep understanding of multiple SDLC principles and practices (e.g. Waterfall, Agile, Scrum)
Excellent architecture, design and coding skills
Proven track record of delivering projects on time with high quality and measurable business value
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong organization skills
Outstanding problem solving skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with end-users, project team members and management
A passion for all areas of software development and application lifecycle management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server
Web Application Design and User Interface Design
Senior level experience with test automation
Strong understanding of quality engineering and test principles and practices
