Chino Valley Ranchers Chino Valley Ranchers Colton, CA Colton, CA Full-time Full-time $23 - $25 an hour $23 - $25 an hour 7 days ago 7 days ago 7 days ago SUMMARY The Payroll Coordinator will manage a full payroll cycle for 4 different entities on a biweekly basis, ensuring accurate and timely payments, while also keeping track of hours worked, calculating salaries, and managing pay advance requests.
They will also manage employee data, audit timesheets, and maintain the timekeeping system.
Additionally, they will work with the department on wage garnishments, employment taxes, and retirement accounts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must able to perform the following:
Responsible for the preparation and processing of the biweekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees, audit and balancing.
This includes the entire cycle of payroll processing from capturing of new employees, leave, terminations, etc.
Enforce the administration of payroll policies, procedures and programs.
Process manual checks and payroll adjustments, including termination checks.
Generates payroll reports for record-keeping purposes and managerial review.
Responsible for bi-weekly 401k contribution upload reports.
Researches complex payroll issues and implement solutions.
Stay in compliance and informed on payroll regulations, programs and practices.
Process payments for garnishments on a biweekly basis.
Sort and arrange checks by department for distribution on a biweekly basis.
You will work with the HR team and other departments to manage and maintain employee data, including new hires, terminations, leaves of absence, benefits deductions, and garnishments.
Appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information.
Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned by HR Director.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School Graduate or GED required, and 1 year of related experience or training.

Effective HR and People Management and Organizational skills.
Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
Excellent computer literate skills with capability in email and related business communication tools (MS Word, MS Excel) Meticulous attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving skills and coordination of multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with ADP Workforce Now, is a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents in English and Spanish.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and procedure manuals; Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
