Cool Transports Cool Transports Colton, CA Colton, CA Full-time Full-time $19 - $21 an hour $19 - $21 an hour Billing Clerk Responsible for providing accurate billing and excellent customer service for all Cool Transports customers.
Duties will include but not limited to the following:
Responsibilities Accurately identify the following items on a bill of lading:
Pro Number, Shipper, Consignee, Debtor, Prepaid vs Collect, COD charges, BOL number, PO number, driver number, number of items shipped, class, weight and any specific instructions.
Generate accurate billing from actual bill of lading.
Pull past quotes to verify bill match.
Perform general accounting, rating inputting and filing.
Serve as backup to other members of the accounting team.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Basic accounting/math skills.
Excellent communication skills are required at all levels, both up and down the chain of command.
Strong time management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and have attention to detail.
Teachable & works well with others.
Strong computer skills; MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook.
CSI software and previous transportation experience a PLUS.
