Production Coordinator - 3rd Shift


This position provides administrative support to the production department, including data entry, maintenance of spreadsheets, and reporting.

  • Performs daily data entry of production activity.

  • Create and modify Daily Production Reports.

  • Prepares & verify all Production Reports.

  • Maintain spreadsheets and track data.

  • Maintain information in production systems.

  • Generates and enters PO's.

  • Releases and closes shop orders for production running.

  • Creates and modifies shop orders.

  • Gives shop orders to Maintenance.

  • Do Month End Closing.

  • Manage all Production Office clerical functions, such as filing, faxing and copying or any other administrative duties.

  • Maintain cleanliness on line and 5S standards. Equipment and work areas must be kept organized, clean and sanitary throughout the shift. End of shiftrequires removal of any waste and garbage generated during the shift. Ensure proper care of equipment.

  • Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training. Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and person. Report any injury oraccident immediately to supervisory and/or any unsafe condition.

  • Supports food safety, quality and legality.

  • Support, and comply with all quality management systems, continuous improvement programs, food safety, employee safety, preventative maintenanceprograms.

  • Support and comply with GMP's Participate in TPM initiatives.

  • Follow all company policies and procedures.

  • Other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent and ability to read, speak and write English so as to assimilate, retain, and apply training and knowledge of jobfunctions and recognize and communicate problems and recommended solutions.

Computer literacy including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Required Experience

  • Two years clerical experience, including data entry

  • Experience using SAP, MP2 or CMMS software a plus.

  • Computer literacy including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
