Cycle Counter

Cycle CounterThis position is responsible for conducting cyclical counts of inventory items and other tasks as assigned.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ability to keep commination open and help improve potential inventory control issues and department results.
Communicates with inventory control supervisor and fellow cycle counters on progress of counts and issues requiring follow up.
Knowledge of reading labels and ability to identify special order/vendor model number.
Ability to maintain maximum efficiency and accuracy of repetitive procedures with minimal overtime.
Assures all items are tagged/retagged when performing counts.
Ability to operate an RF scanner with minimal errors
Ability to operate lift equipment safely
Maintain good attendance
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Support the Human Resources and Loss Prevention functions and maintain adherence to HR and Living Spaces policies and procedures.
Ability to adapt in an evolving environment.
Maintain a positive attitude and adhere to company culture

Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One to two years of related experience in forklift operation.
Skills and Qualifications
A positive and pleasant personality, verbal communication, professionalism, sensitivity to confidential matters, organization team work.
Language Ability
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Math Ability
Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates and Training
Forklift Training Program must be completed

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
