Warehouse Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:



  • Tracks and provides Key Performance Indicators for Warehouse and Transportation.

  • Manages projects for Warehouse and Transportation.

  • Serves as the Administrative Assistant for Regional Director of Distribution.

  • Tracks all Operational expenses in the Daily PO Tracking Log.

  • Assigns GL code and PO number to vendor invoices. Reviews for accuracy and submits to the Transportation or Warehouse Manager for approval.

  • Utilizes the PO tracking log to provide accruals at Period End for outstanding Operations invoices.

  • Reviews non-exempt Operations employees time punches in eTime verifying accuracy and enters sick/vacation time.

  • Orders uniforms for warehouse and Transportation employees.

  • Orders supplies for Warehouse and Transportation

  • Manages the Warehouse employee schedule and Bids. Confirms PANs (Personnel Action Notices) are submitted for all changes in bid position or pay.

  • Additional duties as assigned by the Regional Director of Distribution.


Skills/Work Experience:



  • Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements.

  • Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required.

  • Advanced PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet).

  • Personal computer skills to include spreadsheet software and word processing software (MS Word & Excel).

  • Supervision, Safety management, Data Entry Management, Information Analysis, Reporting, Time Management, Equipment Maintenance, and OrganizationalSkills required.

  • Strong knowledge of all governmental regulations concerning the operations, e.g. OSHA, FDA, HAACP, as well as good manufacturing practices for foodprocessing facilities

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.

  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

  • Familiarity with mechanical functions of all machines/equipment.

  • Proven competency in supervisory activities which require conflict management, developing subordinates, directing subordinates, managing and measuringperformance, motivating, building team spirit and morale, and understanding diverse viewpoints.


Education/Skills: Bachelor's degree in related field


Years of Experience: 5-7 years plant/general management experience in a manufacturing environment




Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
