LX System Analyst

Purpose:


Manages the scheduled activities surrounding the SAP MRP system. Train/support others for satisfactory SAPĀ execution.


Job Description:



  • Leads efforts to maintain good records in the SAPĀ operating system

  • Insures that daily weekly and other summary data is correct for reports

  • Provide regular updates, information, and other data to maximize the efficiency of the facility

  • Work closely with Planner, Traffic, and operations to insure best application of SAPĀ systems

  • Manage discrepancies in Frozen/Dry WIP Warehouse. Review warehouse daily for discrepancies. Utilize downtime in Frozen Room daily to consolidate variances.

  • Manage discrepancies in all locations including frozprod1, NONCNF1 and shipping

  • Address SAPĀ discrepancies in reporting and shipping

  • Follow up on shop tickets regarding errors. Correct all issues and identify where and why the error occurred in an effort to prevent.

  • Provide training as needed to new employees/positions and follow up training on all shifts as necessary.

  • Validate accuracy of scrap factors.

  • Work day to day with operators/supervisors to troubleshoot system and improve plant learnings.

  • Manage cycle count program and track inventory adjustments as necessary.

  • Support plant efforts in the area of quality, TPM, and other continuous improvement processes.

  • Support and comply with Food Safety and GMP regulations

  • Implements and monitors overall production performance data collection tools and ensure objectives are established, documented and monitored, Ensure non-conformities identified in quality programs are addressed and corrected

  • Implement, support, and maintain quality tracking systems as appropriate for SAP,

  • Participate in TPM initiatives.

  • Follow all company policies and procedures.

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Supports product safety, quality and legality.

  • Communicates Safety, Quality, and Food Safety policies to all employees. Ensures such policies are applied by all employees.

  • Support, and comply with all quality management systems, continuous improvement programs, food safety, employee safety, preventative maintenance programs and legality.


Skills/Work Experience:



  • Experience should include similar work where system understanding is paramount.

  • Incumbent should display good history of tenacity, good communication skills, analytical skills

  • Food experience or food component experience helpful but not required

  • Personal computer experience should include spreadsheet, presentation, and word processing

  • Some experience with conflict management, developing people and areas of expertise.

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, and customers.

  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

  • Familiarity with general plant mechanical functions and equipment.




Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
