As a Senior Accountant, you will be tasked with financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Top-notch analytical skills are vital to the duties of this position. This position is full time with excellent compensation and benefits, as well as the chance to grow. Responsibilities - Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management - Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner - Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives - Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions - Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary - Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required - Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP - Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations - Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external auditors
- Sharp, analytical thinking abilities, always seeking to draw connections and identify the "why" - Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment - Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines - Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required - Exceptional time management skills preferred - Foundational knowledge in financial analysis - Demonstrated knowledge of standard costs - Adeptness in financial reporting - Experience with financial statement preparation - Expertise in inventory - Month end closings experience - Financial auditing experience - Excellent oral and written communications skills - 3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience - Experience with ERP systems - Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast paced environment - Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance - BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred - Prior work done in public accounting is desired - Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills Please contact your Robert Half Recruiting Manager if interested in this opportunity and if you do not have one please contact me at Click Here to Email Your Resum?

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
